HEADACHES EVERYWHERE

Both my guys are having migraines this weekend... Although Veg and I had a great time today, as soon as he started getting over heated (even with wearing a hat and staying hydrated) he covered his eyes and complained that his headache was back.... Obviously it was time to go...

But Hubby woke up with one this morning, he hasn't had one in a very very long time, so this was a shock to all of us and had him pretty much down for the count today.... Surely this can't be what we have to look forward to this summer, so I'm bound and determined to find remedies that work.... 

Both of my men are getting so bad with this round that they have fevers.. Thankfully they are both sleeping A LOT... so that is a good thing.

Molasses tastes NASTY plain!  but yes I tried it!  and believe it or not, it did relieve my sinus headache.  but Mine wasn't migraine.  This Spring is doing a number on our house, I tell ya!  Even the dog's allergies are acting up horribly.

Oh Well... Tomorrow is another day, and by golly we won't let this stop us having fun!  Laughing is a requirement...Ya no!

Stand behind Veg and Hubby (not at the same time)For a couple minutes take your two index & middle fingers and start from between the eyebrows just above the nose and work your fingers up and out over the eyebrows towards the side of the forhead with a little pressure. Do they have allergy problems? They said the tree pollen count is three times the amount that is usually considered "high" here in Evansville. I get sinus headaches all of the time and they seem to flare up when the pressure changes or if I have a lot of congestion from allergies. They aren't fun to watch (or probably do) but I've heard that saline sinus rinses are a good alternative to allergy medicines. They go in and rinse out all of the best stuff from the air! I also got the generic version of Alavert so I'll let you know how that goes if you are interested.

Yes, it seems allergies are horrible here too. I'm skating by with sinus aches here and there, but the boys have got it much worse. I've heard the Neti-Pots do wonders, for sinus head aches....I think that is what you meant by saline wash...Unless there is something else that I haven't seen yet. But yes, they seem kind of Yuck.... *smile* I've also found Garlic oil, (although it stinks) and apple cider vinegar work for me. But they weren't working for Hubby last night. They do work for Veg, but not on the bad migraines, only on the sinus stuff.... Yes let us know if you find something that works.... I hope this allergy season passes quickly for everyone's sake... Ugh!
