Veg has been watching the ground every day waiting for our biggest tree to let go of its leaves. When we woke up this morning and looked outside, he said "Today is the day"......
And he was right!! I promised I'd rake leaves when we got home, but on our way home he said "NO, I don't want to do that today"!! He was set in stone that he was NOT going to jump in those leaves.... Well knowing that tomorrow could bring rain, I told him that I would rake the leaves anyway, because I won't break a promise....
When we arrived home, Hubby had surprised us and raked the entire yard in to the biggest pile ever... (can't tell by the pics, but it was really big) And then against our childs wishes, he picked up the boy and laid him flat in the middle of the leaves... Little did we know that he would sink to the bottom, along with his ball and bat.... Veg came out of the pile cracking up laughing, and this continued until well after dark...
We are such a bunch of sillies!!

Too fun!!! I miss the Livonia house just for THIS reason!!! Heck I would lose my boys in the piles that we could make from that house.
