Lately, with all the excitement of new things our Vegman has been putting off bed time again. Knowing that school is approaching tomorrow, his very favorite thing, he is having a hard time sleeping.
I told him that he couldn't play with anything at bed time, and he needed to go straight to bed...
"Well Mom, if I build something can I show it to you"
<Not tonight, go to bed, and you can build then show me in the morning>
.............30 minutes later..............
"Mom Mom, come see what I made?"
Although curiosity was getting the better of me, I stuck to my guns...
<Nope, I asked you not to build anything and you need to go to sleep>
"But I didn't build any thing, I just wrote you a note"
Well Pooh!!! How can I say no NOW!! So I go look at the note...... It said....
"MOM U R THE BEST MOM IN ALL THE WURLD"
Yes, the kid is gooood... He knows how to pull the heart strings.. he knows this is a stall tactic that will NEVER fail....
As I walk away I hear him sounding out as he's writing.... "DAD U R THE BEST........."
HA HA... There he got another 10 minutes without sleeping... Such a smarty pants... But I do love the notes! *smile* Maybe not sleeping isn't so bad.
