By golly I think he's got it....
Veg and I got fussy with hubby because he didn't want to turn off a computer game today during Family Time. It is Saturday after all... and computer time can happen After Veg is asleep.
Hubby's long standing reply is "Well your Mom is on the computer all the time too"
So my Vegman says "Yes Dad, but she works when she is on the computer, she has to pay the bills ya no?"
HA HA!! Sometimes I just love what comes out of his innocent mouth!! (granted I'm not working right now) But I have been... In fact I've been working Lots this week....Yes, I blog, Yes I upload photos, Yes, I email friends and reply to message boards... and there are times where my computer time is NOT WORK related!
But when I'm up till 2am finishing a work project because I didn't want it to break in to "Family Time" then I can give myself this blog time before bed... or a bit during the day... After all a girl has to have an outlet...
And so back to this work thing... I'm so excited with how the year has gone so far. Things that I was having so much trouble figuring out, are all coming in to clear focus now. Yeah, its a hard working year, and will be long hours, thats for sure. But I'm having fun again!
Getting things done instead of talking about it, and watching things unfold, and knowing I was a part of it from the beginning is a great feeling.
Tonight I even built a website (nothing fancy) but a communication tool that will help a lot of people and save me LOTS of time from communicating in other ways.
