We got out some old games over the weekend... and Veg is learning them so quickly. This is the perfect age for them.. I forgot how many we had... And I'm NOT talking about the "computer kind" I'm talking about the sit around a table, with pen and paper and boards and cards/tiles/dice.... The real stuff...
His Favorite... YAHTZEE!!! The counting, the recording score, Adding big numbers, all his favorite things... Can't believe I didn't think of this one sooner.
And this one Rummikub... Did anyone else ever play this??? I used to play it with my Grandparents... maybe it was just me... But now Veg is carrying on the tradition... It can be a long game too, so the fact that it keeps his interest is just great!
We have agreed to play one family game EVERY night at least through the summer...
I should say, Veg and I have agreed... Hubby is playing along... Don't tell him that he is having a good time or he may stop... Shhhhhh!!
