While buying the ingredients for my next Breakfast Cookie, Hubby chimed in....
"You know, I would eat one of those things if you put my crunchy peanut butter in it"
Veg Says:
"I would eat that thing if you put chocolate chips in it"
FINE... While certainly not as "Good" for them as it can be, I thought if I can get them started, I'm sure I can shift the taste as time goes on... Just needed to get them to try a bite. Not to mention even with "his" peanut butter and choco chips, the rest is better for them then a bowl of cereal (or three bowls in hubbies case) and more filling.
So Last night, I made them each their own with their specific requirements. And did mine separately without all their stuff. I used walnuts instead of almonds this time and forgot the Cinnamon that I used last time. But otherwise it was perfect!!
This morning, Hubby ate his ALL up and couldn't stop talking about how good it was... Veg ate 1/2 his and said he would save the rest for later. I'm still in process of eating mine.
The Breakfast Cookie is now officially a family food!!!
