My Vegman was always one to do crafts with me... I could sit for hours and work on things while he worked on things beside me. Or we did things together... I was always looking for the next cool and easy project...
And then something happened... he got older... Now he says "I'm too old to do crafts Mom"...
Well Phooey!! Fine, be that way!! (stomping feet with a pouty face)..... So we haven't done them for a long time.
Then my Friend says the other day "You have to call them activities!" Oooooh good idea friend! Thank you so much!
And so today, I suggested we do "Activities" and Veg said, "Sure Mom, I'm not too old for those"
Yippeee!! And so we did crafts.. I mean "Activities" for a long time.... It was quite fun!
Wonder what other things we could do if I just changed the words a bit? Hmmmmm... (wheels turning in brain)
Instead of "let's clean," we sometimes say, "let's have a competition" or "challenge" or something like that!
