I'm avoiding most pasta these days, but had some Couscous while on vacation. It was light, refreshing, and a nice change to the normal "pasta" I would eat. So when I found a little container at the store of multi-colored veggie filled pellet looking things, I decided to give them a try.
This weeks "New Try" is Couscous... No idea what to do with it, I just used water, the round pellet noodles and stuck them in a pan per package instructions.
They take about 8-10 minutes to cook. So during that time I chopped up some Kale, Celery, Tomatoes and Peppers.
Made a dressing mix of Olive Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, Italian Seasoning, Garlic Salt and All Season's Salt. (my usual dressing mix)
When the Couscous was done I just mixed it with the Raw Veggies and the Dressing. Let it cool and ATE IT UP!!!
Just like that!!! Pretty much a 10 minute meal. And So Tasty!! I'll make this one again for sure.
