It seems none of the new seeds took this year in the garden. Not even the flower seeds. But that isn't stopping things from happening.
We planted strawberries last year, and got our first berry today:
Then my friend gave us a chard plant last summer which seemed to have died off rather quickly. All of a sudden, we have Chard, just a few leaves but still:
Of course there is the parsley forest still going strong from last year (minus the bunnies) And we have several things trying to grow on the deck. (Kale, sunflowers & lettuce mix)
So when my friend told my I had to be patient and wait on the garden goodies, I never knew I'd have to wait a full year.
But I guess it is so. Who knew?
