Tis the season to do stuff with leaves. Tis the Reason, I loved this idea from Kids Craft Weekly...
We went outside to collect a few leaves and things, then put them on contact paper. Covered with a piece of cardstock and folded the contact paper edges over.... I think we will do more of these before the season is over because it was so easy and fun. Next time we may even fill it up a little more. But this was our first attempt:

I found this idea on Kaboose - we cut a bruised apple a part and made "stamps" out of the pieces with red paint and cardboard. They didn't come out as good as I hoped, but we enjoyed it anyway.

Although I'm NOT fond of bleach at all... I will admit that this was a fun project from our Montessori Fall Festival. They collected leaves and spread them on a shirt (you could also paint the leaves, which Veg did for one) And then spray the shirt with a bleach/water spray bottle. Lay the shirt to dry...
You'll see from the finished shirt that the leaves left imprints on the shirt..... We came home and washed it immediately to stop the bleach action..
Another great craft idea from Kaboose... Our version is in the picture below The tree is made out of a Veg Arm and Hand print, while the colorful leaves are finger prints...
Yes this is a messy one, and he loved me just painting his arm.. I actually poured the brown paint directly on him and brushed it in. For someone who doesn't like to be dirty, he didn't mind at all...
After the tree was made to perfection, we added flowers and grass with brush strokes and finger prints...
We finished it off with a couple animal stickers and an Orange paper mat!
