I've gotten myself so wrapped up in work and web stuff and when not doing that, there is cleaning to be caught up on or groceries to buy and of course the most amazing part of my life is my kiddo and his Daddy... So making time for crafting has been cut short lately.
This last week I decided to make some changes, getting my life back in the middle of my life... And it worked to an extent...Although even the best plans can be altered. I was supposed to go to a friends last night to craft..but due to some unexpected circumstances the plans changed....
Instead we each stayed at home, and worked on cards, while writing to each other to show what we were working on. Kept the motivation going, and I actually got three quick cards done before bed.
The first is a pattern I saw on someone's dress the other day and thought it would make a cute card.
You'll see it is very basic! :-)
And the inside of that card. Hard to tell but the thinking of you paper and the smile paper are both a sea green type color. It actually goes really well with the different shades of brown.
And these two cards were my rendition of some ideas I found in the Stampin Up idea book... I'm really happy with the Christmas one... Almost makes me want to make some more before the holiday gets close.
Ooooh..i'm loving that X-mas one! I might have to steel that idea ;). It's been ages since I've scrapped...I kinda miss it.
