I did batches of Thank You cards because I had many to send. Hopefully each person won't show the other person that they got the same card. And if more then one person sees this blog post... SORRY, Your all getting almost the same card... With some variations.
So doing a Batch System, I realized was great for my Thoughts of 2010.. More Simplifying!
And using much of the same colors solved the following problems:
- Save Time
- Less Scraps
- Less digging through scraps for pieces
- Less Mess
- Less Planning
- Less Mess
- Save Time...
You get the idea... And did I mention less Mess... OH YES! My First Craft day of 2010, I got my Mom's Scrapbook Calendar totally done and all my thank you cards made.... All, with not a single mess to show for it!
I developed a system that goes much like Veg's Book shelf... ONE OUT - ONE IN.... Before I take out an item, I put the other one away...
The end of night clean up took TWO Seconds! It was Soooo Cool... And a new trend that I think will follow me for a long time... Where possible... Some days this won't be, but while doing cards in batches it was TOTALLY Possible...
With out further gabbing...
I made two of these:
And three of these: (those are little plastic windows, much cuter in person)
