SH and I met at the craft store yesterday morning for a "make and take" crafty thing they were having. We were able to make a couple cards and learn about decorating a bag, but it wasn't anything "GREAT"...
So we left and while chatting in the parking lot, decided lunch was needed.. So we ate a great meal at a restaurant near by, and then while chatting some more in the parking lot we realized we didn't have to go home yet. Ya see, the crafty thing at the store was supposed to last until 3 and since we didn't know what was going to be there, we told our Hubby's we'd be home around 3ish.... This meant we still had several hours which meant we needed some Starbucks... So we stop off there and started talking about stamping. (mouse stamps specifically) which then sent us on a journey to another craft store.... I just love these little House Mouse guys. And finally purchased a couple small designs. They are sooo cute! And they stamp really great! All the details show up and are perfect for coloring in with the Stampin Up Water Color Wonder Crayons.
And how do I know that they stamp so good?? Because around 8:30 last night SH came to the house for some more crafty fun. She brought with her some more Starbucks, and we were card making fools... She has a new fancy DOO DAD from Provo Craft called the Cuttlebug and it embosses paper with all kinds of fancy designs. Of course the more little attachments you buy the more designs you get. But SH is a queen of 50% off coupons and they have come in really handy for this contraption. She had lots of attachments.
Hubby came home about midnight and threw a card at me to say Happy Anniversary. Thankfully I finished making his card before he got home and decided just to throw it at him like he did mine... *smile*
I think it was 2:30AM before our crafting ended, We stamped and cropped and embossed and cut and punched, colored and inked and chalked, until we could no longer keep our eyes open.
What a fun Crafty Day!!!!
