As much as I was totally against the whole iPod thing, I admittingly really like it now. I can plug it in speakers at work, or use it on my walks/jogs... Even use it to muffle hubby's video game noise... not to mention its pink, little, cute & takes no batteries.
I'm also highly against Audio Books.. I think its insane that the world has become so lazy that adults now have to have books read to them, instead of opening and reading it for yourself... And then early this morning on my personal PC, I became one of those lazy people. I made my first purchase off of Itunes and ordered me an Audio Book... I need to say however, that the book I chose was a Comedian's book, and he was the narrator, so essentially I have 5 Hours of stand up comedy on my cute little pink iPod. So it's not really a book... or at least that is what I told myself.
So, today was my first download day and it was pretty darn cool...Then... Hubby and Veg met me for lunch, and he suggested I put the iPod in to my purse so it didn't get lost! HA!!! Thats what I get for listening to Hubby... Come back from lunch and the iPod is Gone...Its NOT in my purse. I checked all over, and asked the receptionist, retraced my steps back to the restaurant... Nothing... Search around office again, and find nothing, look through bags, drawers, floors... NOTHING!
Hubby calls to say that Veg saw it fall out of my bag at the restaurant... But the restaurant people hadn't seen it, so I decided it was gone. And for the first material object ever, I was a little sad... I couldn't see buying a new one, after taking 100 hours to decide on the first, and I didn't want to have to reload all the music... blah blah blah.
So I go to a meeting with my sad self... 2hrs later, I go back in to my office and guess what I found... YUP, Little Miss iPod laying on the floor under my chair as if she had fallen out of the sky. I KNOW IT WASN'T THERE BEFORE THE MEETING...or else it is true that I'm losing my marbles as Veg says.
Either way, she is back and safe and all is well... Shewww! That was a close call !!
