As mentioned, Hubby is taking over the day time parenting duties while Veg is out of school. So this means, I am the worker bee of the family. This also means, I will still be doing all my other things in the family because if Hubby had to actually, cook, clean and take care of Veg.... That would require multi-tasking. Which I'm not so sure is part of his genetic make-up. Which means I will have lots of stories to tell in hopes that I will keep my sanity by telling them.
Here is the first:
There was a bed time accident (again) this morning at about 4am. I took all the sheets down stairs and set them on top of the washer, in hopes that I wouldn't wake Hubby by turning the machine on. Got Veg in the shower and re-made his bed, then got myself back to sleep because I had to be up for work in a couple hours.
When it was time to leave, I only gave Hubby "ONE" task for the day... Can you please put the dirty sheets in the washing machine? Well I come home and the dirty sheets are still on top of the washing machine. I mentioned this to him and he says "well I took the towels that were in the washer and put them in the dryer, I thought that is what you wanted? We must have had some miscommunication?"
<YA THINK>
"ummm??? So you physically picked up the dirty sheets, moved them, took the towels from the washer to the dryer, closed the now empty washer lid, and set the dirty sheets back on top of the washing machine?"
<bite tongue, say no more>
Now venting.... If he had to actually physically touch the dirty sheets two times to move them, how hard would it be to physically set them INSIDE THE WASHING MACHINE!!!!
I guess next time when I ask him to do something I will have to be much more specific... GEESH!
Hey, I guess I can't complain, at least he remembered to feed him today!
Ladies, I'm really going to need some help getting through this summer!!! Tips, advice, laughter... anything???
