So after my Wicking Fabric Walk I really did boil I from the inside out... I woke up the next morning with the ugliest biggest blister just above my lip. 6 days later it is still there and still ugly.
You can't cover the things up with make up, a band aid just wont do, and no matter what, you have this ugly thing that looks like you've been bit by a dog or crashed in to a wall.
Yes - I used my new faithful skin remedy "Tea Tree Oil" but have determined it must not work as good for this type of blister thing. Because although it did take the swelling and pain away on day one, and it did scab over immediately by day 2, it hasn't removed the thing completely like it did before.
So I have come to the conclusion that it will work for Viral Blisters (after a cold or something) and it seems to work for bug bites and allergic reaction blisters with no problem. BUT the kind that pop up from boiling your body by over heating, just don't want to go away.... I think its my body's way of saying "What the heck were you thinking"
In summary I'm still a huge fan of the Tea Tree Oil, but I still have a very ugly lip *sigh*
