Veg is so inquisitive, always asking questions as most children his age do.... Like:
"Why does that leaf have more carotene causing it to be orange, while the other leaf on the same tree has more Chlorophyll causing it to be green, if they are both going through photosynthesis at the same time, shouldn't they be the same color?"
Thanks to the Internet, I can answer most of his questions... But now they have shifted to
"Did you have underpants back in the day?"
And this morning I heard "Where did you hang your clothes back in the day?"
<In my closet>
"You mean they had hangers back in the day?"
Geesh Kid... how old you think I am????
Then "but how did you make coffee back in the day?" I eventually suggested he call his Grandma because she would know how Coffee was made back in the day. So he does..... But instead of just asking the question. He starts out the call like this:
"Grandma, my Mom told me to call you because you were much older and would know how they made coffee back in the day"
She took the "old" comment in stride though and did answer his questions of the process it took to make coffee back in the day. And Veg says:
"Sheww... Coffee makers are much faster, I'm glad my Dad doesn't live back in the day anymore"
