I was feeling like a creamy smoothie, and something different that I don't usually make. Which is when I remembered Happy Herbivore's Cinnamon Bun Smoothie that seemed to fit the bill.
BUT, we only had soy milk in the house of which I'm not consuming these days. Soooo, I put on my thinking cap!
1 Cup of Water, with some Hemp Seeds in to Mr. Vita-Mix and Voila!
Instant non-dairy milk for my HH Cinnamon Bun Smoothie:
Not to mention Raw, Frothy, Omega filled Goodness...
Then I added all the other ingredients to finish off this treat.
Sorry HH, but I can't make a smoothie without some greens! I added a bunch of spinach to the mix, and couldn't taste it a bit.
Hence the pretty green color. I also had to add an extra banana and a little bit more maple syrup since my milk was not pre-sweetened.
But OH MY YUM!!! This was delicious. Vegkid drank some too and gave a big thumbs up!
If only I had saved some for tomorrow?? Oh well, Just have to make more *wink*
