I took some extra time off work to spend with family, get some much needed rest, get lots accomplished and begin preparing myself for whats next here in the Veg house.
So for the first time in at least 20+ years, I had lots of days off with not much planned, no where to go, and enjoyed every single minute of it!
I have so many favorite parts of this Stay-cation, so I'll start at the beginning!
Vegkid went on a camping trip which meant another first. A first for him to go on the trip and a first for us to be without child for more than one night.
Hubs and I decided to head in to the mountains.
You may have to click on this one to see Mrs. Deer. She was so pretty!
Funny to see Ice, Snow and Flowers in the same spot!
Poor flowers are so confused with this weather:
After our Mountain drive, walk and visit we headed in to town for lunch:
Had to get a picture of that sign because it is too awesome! {little things amuse me}, but neither of us ended up eating Pizza.
I had soup and the husband had a Tofu Hoagie! YUM!
After some shopping, more eating, lots of walking and lots of lolligagging (Doing a whole lot of nothing) we made the drive back home.
The quiet unplugged time at home was so nice and very much needed.
Next chapter of the Vegmom Stay-cation 2012:
Vegkid comes home and NeeNee makes her appearance!
