Just realized I haven't updated on my quest to avoid eating out.. I can't say that I've been successful in a complete revolt to making the shift.
But I have made a conscious effort to do it less. I've also figured out how to make my own Frozen Coffee drinks, while adding greens and cacao to get that extra nutrient love!
I've saved money and plastic waste from coffee stops.
At home I can use Glass Cups and Glass Straws, less waste, less guilt!
With having the Juicer now, I will no longer have to stop for Juice, saving money and waste = less guilt!
So I can't say I'm THERE.. but the past couple weeks have really made me realize how wasteful I was prior. And I'm going to continue that effort to move away from convenience stops.
Except when traveling, when I have visitors, or when Hubby and I need a lunch date, or...... OK see how hard this is??
My thought is that with 2-3 new tries a week, I'll eventually have so many food choices at home, I won't even want to eat out. And can tell you, I'm almost there...
